The Edgewater Hotel - Madison

I got updated, nicely furnished room with extremely comfy bed.

romantic hotel with fast wi-fi, the location is beautiful to a plaza. functional king room, big beds. spectacular view of lake and great and excellent breakfast. location short walk to the waters edge, and state street and view of lake. early check in and late check out.

Staying at edgewater was a delight! The location by the lovely lake is fantastic. My room had fine double balconies that opened to fresh air and a view of the capital building. The staff was super friendly, and the in-room dining was a treat. The spa services offered great relaxation, especially the massage techniques.

great stay but some room for improvement

The views from our Langdon Studio King were fine, especially the lake view at sunrise. The staff was attentive, going above and beyond to cater to our needs.

Unfortunately, the room could use some updates to match the overall elegance of the hotel.

It was a suitable option for a fleeting moment in Madison at a decent price. The views from our room were fine, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake were a highlight. Consider taking the shuttle service for dinner. It was a nice touch.

The views of the water were fine, especially from my spacious Lakeview King room. The staff was friendly and provided excellent room service. The location made it easy to explore the area. Great experience overall 🌊

Nice place with great amenities like 24-hour reception, a fitness center, and in-room breakfast. I remember on my first stay, the staff even helped me with bug spray! They are always friendly, like Sam who drove us to dinner. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the amazing spa services, especially the massage and body scrub, super relaxing. The only downside was that the layout of the hotel was a bit confusing at times 🌟

check-in was kinda rough, but I loved the beautiful views of the lake! the room had a nice layout and was really clean. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay.

I had a fantastic stay! The terrace rooms had stunning views, and I loved the delicious steak served at dinner, even if the silverware was plastic. I'd definitely come back!

fine views and easy access to parks and attractions

I had the pleasure of enjoying lovely views of the water . The location was a short walk from both the Wisconsin State Capitol and James Madison Park, perfect for my weekend walks exploring the beautiful city.

The building layout can be a real head-scratcher, leaving you wandering a bit more than you'd like to find your room or amenities. Some expected luxuries felt a bit sparse, such as a basic coffee maker that didn't function properly , leading to a bit of frustration. On top of that, room essentials like teabags incurred unexpected charges, which left a sour note considering the price point.

The Statehouse restaurant is an absolute gem with delicious eats that are sure to tickle your taste buds! Plus, I loved the friendly bartenders who really went the extra mile to ensure a fun vibe. The Edgewater is a fabulous spot to unwind, both lakeside and indoors.

The room layout left something to be desired-no chair to sit on and a view of a brick wall? Yikes! The shower lacked pressure.

The Edgewater boasts a charming lakeside decor with bright spaces that exude warmth and elegance. The accessibility to various areas was wonderfully convenient.

More seating options in common areas would be helpful.
